What is Acupressure Massage & Yin Yoga? How to combine them together?

Acupressure massage is a therapeutic practice rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, involving the application of pressure to specific points on the body's meridians to stimulate energy flow and promote holistic healing. It is based on the belief that vital energy, or qi, circulates through these pathways, and by addressing acupoints, one can restore balance, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being.

Yin yoga, on the other hand, is a gentle and introspective style of yoga that targets the connective tissues through prolonged, passive holds in postures. It encourages a meditative approach, promoting flexibility, deep relaxation, and the release of tension stored in the body. Yin yoga complements acupressure by fostering a tranquil state of mind and facilitating the free flow of energy throughout the meridians.

                                          How Works Program?

* This is a 5 -day online retreat. Host & participant agree with the dates and time.

* There will be morning and evening sessions. 

* Through live sessions  you will explore specific acupoints, learning to apply precise pressure for energy release and holistic healing. Simultaneously, delve into the gentle, meditative practice of Yin yoga, where  teacher will lead you through postures designed to complement the acupressure journey. 

* During sessions massage or tennis ball, index finger, spoon, yoga blocks can be used.

* Each session lasts 1 hour following with Q&A.

 

Meet Your Instructor

 

AYLIN GENC

Yin Yoga and Breathwork Teacher,Chinese Medicine Student

Aylin Genc is a seasoned Yin Yoga teacher with extensive experience, holding both 200-hour RYT Yoga Teacher Training and 200 hour RYT Yin Yoga Teacher Training certifications. She further deepened her expertise by completing the Breath Body Mind (BBM) teacher training under the guidance of Dr. Patricia Gerbarg and Dr. Richard Brown. Aylin passionately imparts the wisdom of Yin Yoga and Breathwork through lessons and retreats across Europe. Simultaneously, she is a dedicated Chinese Medicine student, specializing in acupuncture. Aylin's commitment to humanitarian efforts is evident in her work with Ukrainian refugees in Warsaw, where she implements the Nada Protocol (ear acupuncture). Additionally, she has volunteered with Ukrainian refugees and earthquake victims in Turkey, introducing them to the transformative power of conscious breathing practices.
